We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Finally, we may share your contact information with a lawyer or law firm if you request us to do so, solely for the purposes of having follow-up discussions related to your dispute. If this happens, we may or may not receive a lead generation fee from these lawyers/law firms.

Partnerships and Affiliate Programs

We often evaluate and enter into partnership programs with third party vendors. In certain cases, we may earn a commission from these companies in the event you make a purchase on their website after clicking on a link contained in ours.

We do not share any personal information gathered in our site with any partners unless directed by you. However, when you click a link on our site, these vendors may use cookies on their own site to further track your web navigation behavior and purchases. These cookies are not controlled or managed in any way by Cease & Desist Services. You will need to contact these third-party sites directly to discuss their tracking and opt-out options if needed.

Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident please note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

If you submit a contact form with a question, comment, or inquiry, we will retain this information indefinitely for our records. If you wish this information to be deleted, please contact us through our support email.

Finally, if you partially submit, but do not complete our “Start Your Letter” form, your entries will automatically save on our servers. We will retain this information for up to 60 days in order to ensure your information is not lost (forcing you to retype your information). We reserve the right to reach out to you to validate that you intended to abandon the incomplete form.

Future Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
